United Rentals is seeking an Installation Technician II – Matting Solutions in North Canton, OH. You will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of heavy equipment in a safe and efficient manner, including inspections, maintenance, and proper documentation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; fluent reading/writing in English.
• Valid driver’s license.
• 1–3 years heavy equipment operating on large construction projects.
• Ability to operate independently with minimal supervision.
• Knowledge of safety hazards and inspection principles.
• Ability to read and interpret Access and Construction Plans.
• Travel out of town during week/weekends; extensive overtime.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily safety and maintenance checks with proper documentation.
• Participate in routine maintenance and safely store heavy equipment.
• Communicate effectively with site personnel and uphold safety.
• Operate all heavy equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain daily logs of equipment usage and maintenance.
• Understand ground signals and maintain eye contact with ground crew.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
