Job summary

P.J. Keating Company, a CRH Company, is a leading producer of aggregate and HMA products in Massachusetts and Rhode Island. This Equipment Operator (Finance) role supports quarry operations in Acushnet, MA, requiring heavy equipment operation, safety discipline, and a valid driver’s license.

Overtime and weekend work may be required. Benefits available through CRH. You'll work with a team to ensure smooth crushing operations, daily inspections, and adherence to MSHA regulations.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Hoisting License 2A required.
• MSHA Certification required.
• Experience with quarry operations a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operates heavy equipment in a safe and professional manner in the yard area.
• Keep vehicle clean inside and outside.
• Report any accident or incident to supervisor.
• Performs pre-and post-trip truck inspections; fill out daily vehicle condition report.
• Inform Service Technician and supervisor of maintenance or repairs needed.
• Always wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Keep load counts.
• Perform duties in accordance with health and safety policies.
• Maintain awareness of MSHA regulations.
• Work as a team member within the crushing operation to ensure smooth operation.
• Ensure crusher is fed consistently.
• Deliver material to crusher and stockpiles.
