Position Summary

Branch Civil is seeking skilled, reliable, and experienced heavy equipment operators for our established and growing company. We have various field positions available in the Hampton Roads, VA area.

We are specifically looking for: Bulldozer Operators, Excavator Operators, and more.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Follow project instructions from construction managers or supervisors.
• Operate construction and maintenance tools and equipment to complete tasks.
• Adhere to all health and safety procedures on site and report violations immediately.
• Operate various tools such as pressure washers, jackhammers, drills, pipe saws, grinders, jumping jacks, and plate compactors safely.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper storage of equipment and tools.
• Comply with all safety regulations including BCI, OSHA, and others.
• Conduct business professionally and respectfully.

Duties/Responsibilities Cont.

Qualifications

• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Basic computer skills, including experience with iPad and MS Office.
• CDL License with hazmat and tanker endorsements required within 60 days.
• 2-3 years of operator experience.
• DOT experience preferred.

Physical Demands
