Position: Heavy Equipment Operator in Port Arthur

The successful Equipment Operator / Laborer will safely perform tasks related to loading, unloading, and moving petroleum coke at the PABTEX Facility and Terminal in Port Arthur, TX.

Responsibilities:

• Follow safety rules and operating procedures to support zero-tolerance safety objectives
• Operate and maintain heavy equipment such as front-end loaders, dozers, backhoes, ship loaders, conveyors, stackers/reclaimers, rail cars, locomotives, and other mobile equipment
• Complete and maintain daily paperwork
• Perform housekeeping duties, including shoveling, washing work areas, and keeping facilities clean
• Assist maintenance personnel as needed
• Work outside of normal duties when instructed by supervision

Requirements:

• At least 1 year of heavy equipment experience
• Ability to obtain a TWIC card
• Proficiency in reading, writing, and understanding English, and following instructions
• Physical ability to handle tools, climb equipment, and work at heights
• Environmental and safety awareness
• Ability to work rotating 12-hour shifts, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime
• High School diploma or GED
• At least 1 year of refinery, plant, or industrial experience

Physical Requirements:

• Work outdoors and exposure to elements
• Handle large tools, climb on/off equipment, and work at heights
