Job Overview

R. J. Corman Railroad Group, LLC is seeking energetic, safety-conscious individuals to join our Emergency Response Team. The role involves clearing derailments for railroad customers across the United States. No experience is necessary as training will be provided; skilled operators with CDL-A licenses can earn up to $100,000 annually.

Job Responsibilities
  • Transport, operate, and maintain heavy equipment used in derailment clearance
  • Perform laborer/groundsman duties as needed
  • Ensure safety protocols and PPE usage
  • Drive and maintain CDL-A required vehicles and equipment
  • Comply with DOT regulations and permits
  • Work outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Communicate effectively with team and supervisors
Qualifications
  • Ability to travel frequently and respond to emergencies 24/7
  • Reside within 45 minutes of the R. J. Corman shop
  • Pass background, drug screen, and physical capacity tests
  • Possess current CDL-A and DOT medical card (preferred)
  • Ability to lift up to 100 lbs
  • Enjoy working outdoors in all weather conditions
