Job summary

Advanced Recycling Technologies, LLC is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator to safely move, sort, and load recyclable materials within an industrial setting. The role supports daily operations, ensuring efficient material flow and equipment upkeep in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates have 3-5 years of heavy equipment experience, strong knowledge of recycling processes, and familiarity with OSHA/EPA safety standards.

Qualifications

• Hold all valid licensing and certification requirements.
• 3-5 years’ experience as a heavy equipment operator, preferably in metal recycling
• Strong knowledge of recycling processes, equipment and industry standards.
• Familiarity with safety regulations, OSHA, EPA, etc

Responsibilities

• Safely operate equipment including front-end loaders, mini loaders, excavators, screening and conveyor equipment.
• Perform daily equipment inspections and minor maintenance.
• Assist with general labor tasks as needed.
• Monitor and adjust workflow to meet production demands.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisor.
• Ensure compliance with all standard operational procedures, safety procedures and any additional policies and procedures from management.
