Job summary

US Aggregates is seeking a dedicated Equipment Operator to operate, service and maintain a variety of heavy equipment at our Indiana plant. The role requires attention to safety rules, adherence to procedures, and teamwork to keep production on schedule.

The ideal candidate will perform inspections, log maintenance activities, and support continuous improvement efforts while working in a fast-paced environment with strict quality controls. Strong communication and attendance are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ability to operate and maintain heavy equipment safely and efficiently.
• Read, write and understand English; basic math skills.
• Maintain regular attendance and perform duties responsibly.

Responsibilities

• Operate, service and maintain heavy equipment such as front-end loaders, off-road dump trucks, skid steer, man-lift, fuel truck and water truck to keep the plant running and in production.
• Perform pre-shift and post-shift inspections and maintenance; document activities and inventory as required.
• Follow safety procedures, participate in trainings, and adhere to policies around hazardous materials and railroad safety rules.
• Complete required paperwork accurately and maintain records like maintenance logs and activity reports.
