Job summary

Arcosa Aggregates is seeking a Mobile Equipment Operator based at our Newberry, FL plant. The role involves safe operation of heavy mobile equipment such as bulldozers, excavators, and loaders to support mining and production needs.

Responsibilities include daily equipment operation, pit-to-stockpile hauling, pre-shift safety checks, and loading trucks with a front-end loader. A high school diploma or GED is required and a strong safety mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• Must be able to operate two or more pieces of mobile equipment safely
• Commitment to safety rules and procedures
• Ability to communicate clearly with supervisors and other team members

Responsibilities

• Operate mobile equipment at the Newberry, FL plant, including bulldozers, excavators, and loaders
• Haul materials from mine pit to stockpile, plant, or hopper
• Perform pre-shift safety inspections and follow safety protocols
• Load customer trucks with a front-end loader and maintain stockpiles
• Maintain clear communication with supervisors and other crews
• Complete other duties as assigned
