Job summary

Ames Construction is seeking skilled heavy equipment operators for construction, mining, and civil projects. You will operate bulldozers, excavators, backhoes, and haul trucks, performing safety checks and following project specs across diverse environments.

Qualifications

• Previous heavy equipment experience required.
• Must have relevant certifications and safe operation knowledge.
• Ability to read safety and project instructions.

Responsibilities

• Operate track equipment in all conditions, including night and emergencies.
• Perform routine maintenance and monitor gauges to ensure proper function.
• Exercise sound judgment on safety and health of self and others.
• Complete paperwork and follow verbal/written instructions.
• Work with others and independently to meet production goals.
• Maintain housekeeping in equipment and work area.
