Qualifications

Description

Job Summary


Operate backhoe, excavator, dozer, loader, grader, and trencher which digs holes and trenches and removes and transports earth, gravel, and other such materials.


Essential Functions



  • Always represents the Company with high moral standards while adhering to the Company's "Code of Business Conduct and Ethics".

  • Actively support the Company's commitment to safety and its "Core Values."

  • Works efficiently with supervision.

  • Operate equipment to dig trenches and holes of specified length, depth, and width and grade.

  • Be able to work around existing underground utilities and tight areas.

  • Understand shoring, soil classes and dewatering.

  • Use equipment to remove loosened material and put in piles or transport trucks.

  • Identify safety hazards you or other employees may be subject to and take all necessary corrective action to eliminate or minimize hazards.

  • Perform all other job related duties as requested by supervision.


Qualifications



  • Minimum of one (1) year of mechanical, industrial or refinery maintenance experience.

  • General knowledge of basic hand tools.

  • CDL Preferred

  • Must be able to pass equipment test and visual observation of operating equipment.

  • Complete the Company's Safety training, Process Safety Management training and Client/Site specific training.

  • Must obtain and maintain an active status within the appropriate drug testing program.

  • MUST have TWIC card.

  • MUST have a 20-hour high hazard facility training card.

  • MUST have Verification of 6,000 craft related hours OR Graduated journeyperson status preferred.


The typical hiring range for this position in Washington is shown below. The pay rate will depend on the successful candidate's qualifications and prior experience, specific skill set, geographic location, internal equity, and other factors influencing pay. As such, an actual salary may fall closer to one or the other end of this range, and in certain circumstances, may fall outside the listed hiring range.


Hiring range: $43.00 to $60.00 per hour


Full range for this position, available over time: $43.10 to $65.00 per hour
