Base pay for this position is typically between$2,264.31-$2,490.46/biweekly($58,872 - $64,752/annually). About the Position
CDOT's Region 4 Maintenance Unit located in Arriba is looking to fill an HEO IV position , this personoperates heavy, large, specialized roadway equipment with complex controls in an unsupervised environment. The position requires a high degree of skill gained through experience and training. Provides safe travel for the traveling public by maintaining and upgrading the infrastructure. This includes performing maintenance of roadside surface, facilities, structures, and appearance; providing traffic control and traffic services; operating and maintaining equipment; performing skilled labor activities; and most effectively using resources through active planning and administration. This position mentors others on safe equipment operation and maintenance. All duties are performed with a safety consciousness and the goal to provide exceptional internal and external customer service. This position must continually learn and develop job knowledge to keep up with changes in procedures, technology, and priorities. This position must maintain operational readiness for snow events and other emergencies and may be placed on call.
