Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years previous heavy equipment operation in manufacturing environments, preferably scrap metal or construction industries.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work outdoors in all weather.
• Willing to work overtime, holidays, weekends in an industrial setting.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment including cranes and loaders.
• Load scrap material onto shredder feed conveyor and move material throughout the yard.
• Perform daily inspections and report defects to supervisor.
• Maintain safety standards and housekeeping in all areas.
• Communicate effectively over radio with teammates for traffic coordination and safety.
