WM (Waste Management) is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator I at the Winston-Salem MRF to operate bulldozers, scrapers, and front-end loaders. You’ll perform daily safety checks and assist in material handling while supporting production goals.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience operating heavy equipment and ability to perform physical work.
• Legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Able to pass pre-employment drug screen and physical.
• Preferred: 2+ years experience with front end loader, skid steer, forklifts.

Responsibilities

• Operates heavy equipment in accordance with safety policies and procedures; conducts routine inspections and maintenance.
• Moves and positions materials using material moving equipment.
• Follows standard operating procedures for vehicle operation and maintenance.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
