The University of South Alabama is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator I for its Grounds department. This full-time role involves operating various heavy machinery, performing maintenance, and assisting with construction projects. Applicants should have a high school diploma and relevant experience in equipment operation. The position requires a valid driver's license and adherence to safety procedures.
High school diploma or equivalent, one year of experience in the operation of a variety of heavy equipment in the construction and maintenance fields, and possession of a valid driver’s license and maintenance of a driving record sufficient to maintain insurance coverage under the University of South Alabama. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
