Job Description - Heavy Equipment Operator - Haul Truck (250001M3)

What You’ll Do:

• Promote Safety: Prioritize safety in accordance with MSHA and Vulcan standards, actively ensuring safety for yourself and others.
• Operate Heavy Equipment: Safely operate off-highway equipment to transport raw materials and finished products within the facility.
• Inspect Equipment: Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections, complete reports accurately.
• Maintain Equipment: Check and maintain vehicle fluid levels, assist in minor maintenance tasks.
• Monitor Processes: Observe plant operations, report maintenance or adjustments needed to ensure safety.

Additional Responsibilities: Other duties as assigned.

Skills You’ll Need:

• Experience: Prior experience operating heavy construction equipment preferred.
• Knowledge of Best Practices: Understanding of operating and servicing heavy construction equipment preferred.
• Flexibility: Willing to work overtime, extended hours, outdoors in all weather, and tolerate loud noises.
