Job summary

Omega Foundation Services, Inc. is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator to safely operate earthmoving equipment on heavy civil projects and site development tasks. You will perform grading, trenching, and material handling while adhering to project specs and safety standards.

The role requires experience with multiple machines, attention to grading plans, and coordination with survey crews. CDL preferred; travel to project locations may be required.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of heavy equipment operating experience in heavy civil construction
• Experience operating multiple types of heavy earthmoving equipment
• CDL preferred; valid driver’s license required

Responsibilities

• Operate bulldozers, excavators, graders, loaders, and other earthmoving equipment
• Perform rough and finish grading, trenching, backfilling, and embankment construction
• Excavate and load soil, rock, and other materials to maintain grades and slopes
• Interpret grading plans and stakes to achieve elevations
• Coordinate with survey crews and spotters to ensure safe operations
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs
• Maintain records of inspections and production as required
• Follow all OSHA and site safety policies
