Job summary

AllSkills Recruiting is seeking Heavy Equipment Operators and Foremen for major underground utility and telecom projects in Columbus, Dayton, and Cincinnati, Ohio. You will operate equipment safely, install conduit and manholes, and read construction drawings while coordinating with Project Managers and engineers.

Foremen will lead field crews, ensure schedules, and maintain safety. Direct hire with benefits starting Day One and relocation assistance are provided; a take-home company truck is

Qualifications

• 4–10+ years of heavy equipment or utility construction experience (Foreman).
• Experience with deep excavation and trench box systems.
• Experience working around energized or live underground utilities.
• Utility, telecom, or underground infrastructure experience required.
• Data center construction experience is a strong plus.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Heavy Equipment Operators & Foreman – Utilities / Telecom Construction

Heavy Equipment Operators and Foremen neededto support large-scale underground utility and telecom infrastructure projects in theColumbus, Dayton and Cincinnati, Ohiomarkets. These projects include deep excavation, conduit installation, manholes, and utility construction supporting major data center developments.

Columbus, Dayton & Cincinnati, OH can live within 1 hour of either city

Pay:

• Foreman:$40-$45/hr DOE
  
• Level 2 & 3 Operators:$37-$42/hr DOE
  
• Overtime Available

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a variety of heavy construction equipment on underground utility projects.
  
• Install conduit, manholes, and related underground infrastructure.
  
• Adapt quickly to operating different types of heavy equipment as project needs change.
  
• Follow all OSHA and company safety procedures, including trench protection requirements.
  

Foreman Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise field crews on underground utility projects.
  
• Read and interpret construction drawings and utility prints.
  
• Coordinate daily activities with Project Managers, Construction Managers, engineers, inspectors, and customers.
  
• Ensure projects remain on schedule while maintaining quality and safety standards.
  

Requirements

Preferred Qualifications

• 4–10+ years of heavy equipment or utility construction experience (Foreman).
  
• Experience with deep excavation and trench box systems, including double-stack trench boxes.
  
• Experience working around energized or live underground utilities.
  
• Utility, telecom, or underground infrastructure experience required.
  
• Data center construction experience is a strong plus.
  
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
