Job Summary

The Excavator Operator will assist with the installation of the new 48” FRP Gravity Sewer Line and Manholes. Additionally, they will assist with pilot trenching ahead of the mainline 48” FRP Sewer to expose all utility crossings and assist with cross connections as needed. Duties may also include assisting with grading operations and processing fill material for backfilling.

Essential Functions

• Operate equipment under the supervision of the manager
• Secure all excavations during operations
• Read cut stakes and grade elevations
• Identify hazardous conditions and report them
• Assist in exposing live utilities
• Work days, nights, and weekends as required
• Communicate with team members using verbal and hand signals during equipment operation
• Perform other labor duties as assigned
