Job summary

Staffmark Group in Blytheville, AR seeks a Direct Hire Heavy Equipment Operator to control excavators, dozers, and skid steers on commercial construction projects. You will perform excavation, grading, site prep, and material movement daily.

The role requires experience with heavy equipment, adherence to safety procedures, and teamwork on busy job sites. This is a direct-hire, day-shift role with standard construction hours.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Certification or safety training are a plus.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate excavators, dozers, skid steers, and other heavy equipment on construction projects.
• Perform excavation, grading, site preparation, backfilling, and material movement.
• Conduct daily equipment inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns.
• Work safely around crews, structures, utilities, and other equipment.
• Load, unload, move, and stage construction materials as needed.
• Support foundation, concrete, and general construction activities.
