Job summary

Shirley Contracting Company, LLC is seeking Excavator Operators to join our dirt and utility crews. Start times vary between 6:00 AM and 7:00 AM; overtime, nights and weekends may be required.

You will operate heavy equipment such as excavators, loaders, dozers and motor graders, perform routine maintenance, and uphold health and safety standards on multiple job sites. Minimum experience and pass a pre-employment screening are required; hourly range is $22.00-$35.00.

Qualifications

• Experience running heavy equipment; onsite try-out will be conducted.
• GPS/UTS experience preferred.
• Ability to work outdoors in all seasons.
• Must pass pre-employment physical and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Operate excavators, loaders, dozers and motor graders.
• Perform maintenance: greasing, checking fluids, cleaning tracks.
• Daily equipment cleaning and reporting deficiencies to foreman.
• Willingness to perform manual labor to support projects.
• Uphold health and safety policies and maintain positive relations with customers and coworkers.
