Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of experience operating earth-moving equipment.
• Understanding of construction principles and procedures is required.
• A high school diploma or GED is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Fastens attachments, graders, buckets, and rollers to tractor with hitch-pins.
• Operates earth moving equipment as part of daily production.
• Performs inspections of the equipment prior to and at the end of daily operations.
• Greases all appropriate parts as recommended by the manufacturer.
• Maintains the equipment as per manufacturer guidelines.
• Checks to make sure that equipment functions properly.
• Cleans, maintains, and makes basic repairs to equipment.
• Reports malfunctioning equipment to supervisors promptly.
• Maintains equipment and tools to ensure long lasting use.
