A leading construction firm in Colorado is seeking experienced Equipment Operators to manage civil operations. Responsibilities include safe operation of heavy machinery and ensuring proper equipment maintenance while collaborating with project teams. Strong understanding of site safety, utilities, and equipment care is required for success in this role. Competitive compensation and benefits are offered.
Reports to: Foreman and Civil Superintendent
FLSA: Non-Exempt
JOB SUMMARY:
Equipment operators are responsible for operating heavy equipment for all civil operations in a safe and productive manner. Equipment operators must take care of their equipment on a daily basis, this includes: equipment walk arounds, reporting of maintenance needed, greasing, maintaining all fluids, fueling, and cleaning the equipment. Operators are not just limited to seat time, operators will be required to help out the crew in other aspects as needed. This includes but is not limited to pumping, working with hand tools, helping with measurements/shooting grade, and occasional labor.
