A leading city department in Texas seeks a Lead Heavy Equipment Operator to oversee maintenance projects and a crew. The role requires strong leadership and experience operating various heavy machinery. Candidates must possess a high school diploma, a Texas Class A Commercial Driver's License, and have at least three years of relevant experience.
Oversee and lead a crew in performing street and stormwater maintenance projects while operating a variety of heavy equipment. This role requires strong leadership, task management, and adherence to safety protocols, with minimal supervision. As a safety-sensitive and/or DOT position, participation in random drug testing is mandatory. This is a safety sensitive and/or DOT position. Therefore, you will be required to participate in random drug testing at the city.
