Manual Labor Alliance Constructors in Parsons, KS is seeking a Union Operator to perform duties on construction sites involving heavy equipment. You will operate machinery, follow safety protocols, perform inspections, load and unload gear, and maintain paperwork as required.

Applicants should have a valid US driver’s license, pass background/drug screens, and be able to work with minimal supervision while coordinating with crew members to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• Education requirements are based on union specifications and job site-specific requirements.
• Have a valid driver's license or identification card issued within the United States.
• Must be able to pass site-specific background checks and drug screens.
• Any required certification(s) to operate designated equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maneuver heavy construction equipment, such as telehandlers, excavators, skid steers, backhoes, directional drills, tractors, bulldozers, and cranes in a safe and effective manner.
• Ensure equipment is properly shut down and stored securely when not in use.
• Perform routine inspection and preventive maintenance on assigned equipment.
• Load and unload equipment from vehicles and trailers.
• Complete required paperwork, forms, and records as required.
• Obeys and follows all safety rules on the job site and encourages others to do the same.
