Job summary

Gibraltar Fabrication in New Mexico is seeking Heavy Equipment Operators to safely operate heavy construction equipment and support daily field operations on civil projects.

Qualified candidates will perform daily inspections, excavate, grade, load and move materials, and coordinate with crews while maintaining a clean, safe work area and following all safety requirements. Authorization to work in the United States is assumed.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate construction equipment such as excavators, loaders, dozers, skid steers, rollers, and other equipment.
• Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns.
• Excavate, grade, load, backfill, compact, and move materials as required by the project.
• Work safely around ground personnel, other equipment, utilities, and active work zones.
• Follow grade stakes, site plans and supervisor direction to complete assigned work.
• Assist with general site activities and support multiple crews as needed.
• Maintain equipment and work areas in a clean, safe, and organized condition.
• Follow all company, project, and site-specific safety requirements.
