The Walsh Group is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator for the Manatee County SWWRF Expansion project in Bradenton, FL. The role requires operating a variety of heavy equipment on site, with duties including maintenance checks, loading/unloading materials, and assisting with related tasks to ensure project progress.

Preferred candidates will have 3–5 years of operating experience, the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and a commitment to safety.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of operating experience preferred.
• Lift up to 50 lbs; may work in adverse weather conditions.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screening.
• Ability to comply with safety policies and procedures.

Responsabilités

• Operate a variety of equipment to clear land, move materials like dirt and rocks, and transport aggregates.
• Follow procedures for loading and unloading materials.
• Perform routine maintenance checks and basic servicing on equipment; complete paperwork as required.
• Be prepared for noise, vibration, and other jobsite conditions; assist with other duties as needed.
