Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team at our Norwood location in Cincinnati, OH. As a HEO, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and timely processing of materials in accordance with company standards. You will work closely with other team members to ensure that all materials are processed accurately and efficiently. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures. Cohen Recycling is a drug-free workplace and conducts pre-employment testing as a condition of employment.

Responsibilities and Requirements:

  • Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Must pass a drug test
  • Experience with Crane Operation and Mag work
  • Operation of Front End Wheel Loader
  • Bucket/Fork Loader experience
  • Collaborate with team members for timely completion of tasks
  • Follow all safety guidelines and maintain a safe work environment
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, including baling trash, keeping walkways clear, and performing hazard inspections
  • Strong work ethic
  • Honest and trustworthy; ability to work unsupervised and stay on task

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must be 18 or older and authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as standing, bending, kneeling, and lifting 50 lbs
  • Attention to detail, good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • At least 1 year of Material Handling, Crane, and Loader experience

Job Type: Full-time
