Job summary

Video Industrial Services in Birmingham, AL is looking for a Heavy Equipment Operator-CDL Driver who will operate and maintain sewer and storm drain cleaning equipment, and drive to job sites. The position offers a pay range of $20-27/hour, plus overtime, based on experience.

Candidates must have a Class A or B CDL, be able to work outside under demanding conditions, and have HazMat endorsement. The role primarily serves Birmingham, but may require travel as needed.

Job Details

• Position: Heavy Equipment Operator-CDL Driver
• Location: Birmingham, AL
• Hours: Monday-Friday, occasional Saturdays; day shift
• Pay: $20-27/hour plus overtime. Negotiable based on experience

Job Duties

• Operate and maintain sewer and storm drain cleaning equipment (Jet/Vac units, Vacuum Trucks, Sewer Rehab equipment)
• Drive equipment (requiring Class A or B license) to job sites daily and work as part of the rehabilitation crew either mixing or troweling cement

Requirements

• CDL A or B required
• Previous heavy equipment experience preferred
• Able to pass work physical, drug test and background check
• Willing to work outside in demanding conditions
• Enter manholes and work in confined spaces; ability to work out of town when needed
• Position is designated primarily for the Birmingham, AL area, however travel will be required based on company needs
• HazMat endorsement required
