Job summary

Lumin8 Transportation Technologies, LLC is seeking a groundsman/laborer to support field crews in North Carolina and surrounding areas. You will read plans, operate heavy equipment, and maintain sites to high safety standards.

Candidates should hold a CDL Class A and IMSA safety certifications, with experience supervising personnel and coordinating with contractors on busy construction sites.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret plans and specifications to guide field work.
• Operate heavy equipment safely and perform routine maintenance checks.
• Must hold a valid CDL Class A and be able to drive to multiple sites.
• Understand traffic signal wiring and basic electrical standards.
• Ability to supervise helpers and coordinate with crews.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret grade stakes, utility locates, and basic plan drawings.
• Safely operate heavy equipment including boom truck, crane, backhoe, skid steer, and trencher.
• Maintain clean, organized job sites and equipment areas.
• Assist with supervision and training of subordinate employees.
• Follow requirements for utility locates and permits.
• Inspect equipment daily for safety issues and perform light repairs.
• Provide own transportation and report to job sites as required.
• Wear PPE and ensure safety compliance on site.
