Job summary

Archer Western, a member of the Walsh Group, is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator for the WEGA/WB Casey WWRF Biosolids project in Jonesboro, GA. Operate a variety of heavy equipment on site while maintaining safety and following procedures.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of heavy equipment operating experience preferred
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in adverse weather conditions
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screening
• Must follow safety policies and procedures and communicate effectively with co-workers and supervisors

Responsibilities

• Operates a variety of equipment to complete tasks such as clearing land and moving materials
• Knowledge of operating procedures for loading and unloading materials
• Performs routine maintenance, oiling, servicing, and daily safety checks; completes paperwork as required
• May experience vibrations and loud noise; performs other related duties as needed
• May assist with other site duties as required
