Job summary

Gibraltar Fabrication, LLC. is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator in Brownsville, TX to safely operate heavy equipment and support daily field operations on civil construction projects.

You will perform inspections, ensure safety, and work with site plans and supervisor directions to complete tasks efficiently in an outdoor, physically demanding environment.

• Excavate, grade, load, backfill, compact, and move materials based on project requirements.
• Follow grade stakes, site plans, and supervisor direction to complete work accurately and efficiently.
• Work safely around ground personnel, other equipment, utilities, excavations, and active work zones.
• Assist with general site activities and support field crews as needed.
• Maintain equipment and work areas in a clean, safe, and organized condition.
• Follow all company, project, and site-specific safety requirements.

We are seeking Heavy Equipment Operators to safely and efficiently operate heavy equipment and support daily field operations on heavy civil construction projects.

What You’ll Do

• Safely operate heavy construction equipment, including excavators, loaders, dozers, skid steers, rollers, and other equipment as assigned.

• Experience in heavy civil construction, site development, excavation, grading, or similar field construction work strongly preferred.
• Experience operating multiple types of heavy construction equipment preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and applicable equipment certifications preferred, where required.
• Authorization to work in the United States.
