Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain heavy equipment such as Wheel loaders and Bobcats safely within the warehouse, terminal, and docks.
• Conduct pre-job inspections and periodic maintenance, including fluid checks and greasing systems.
• Transport and store commodities efficiently within the terminal and warehouse.
• Act as a signal person for other equipment and crane operators.
• Perform general labor tasks as needed to support daily operations.
• Complete and submit daily inspection reports to maintenance.
• Report all incidents following company protocols.
• Support and adhere to company safety initiatives and policies.
• Demonstrate knowledge of required competencies and perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of heavy equipment experience in an industrial, warehousing, or maritime environment (preferred).
• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Proficiency in operating heavy equipment safely and within confined spaces.
• Thorough knowledge of warehousing operations, maintenance programs, and safety protocols.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Basic math skills and ability to follow directions.
• Demonstrated safe work practices and leadership ability.
• Commitment to customer service and teamwork.
• PC skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
• Must be physically fit to perform essential job functions and wear personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Ability to obtain a TWIC card and pass pre-employment and random drug screenings.
