Under the supervision of experienced operators, you will gain valuable experience in equipment operation, safety procedures, and site operations.

Assist experienced operators with daily tasks at quarry and aggregate production sites.
Learn to safely operate various types of heavy equipment, such as haul trucks, loaders, dozers, and excavators.
Follow all safety guidelines and immediately report any hazards.
Participate in classroom training modules covering quarry operations, safety procedures, and equipment operation.
Perform routine equipment inspections, pre-operational checks, and basic maintenance tasks.
Adhere to project schedules and work instructions to support production and material handling.
Work in various weather conditions and challenging terrains while maintaining high safety and performance standards.

Skills You’ll Need

Must be at least 18 years old.
Ability to pass a physical exam and drug test.
Physical ability to perform heavy labor, including lifting, climbing, and standing for long periods.
Strong work ethic and willingness to learn new skills.
Interest in quarry operations and heavy equipment operation.

Compensation. The salary is prescribed by the applicable Local 156 collective bargaining agreement. Candidates will be placed according to the union contract salary rate of $25.77
