Position Type: Full-Time, Benefit Eligible

Typical Schedule: Monday through Friday: 7am to 5pm. Schedule may vary.

Job Location: Central Ohio Projects

Typical Pay Range: $27 - $40 /per hour

SIGN ON BONUS: $1,000.00!

Key Responsibilities

• Safely maneuver excavators, bulldozers, backhoes, loaders, and other heavy equipment.
• Operate heavy equipment with precision to dig trenches, grade land, clear debris, and mass excavation.
• Transport and place constructions materials on the job site as required.
• Ensure work does not disturb/damage existing utilities.
• Understand project specifications, and supervisor instructions to execute work accurately.
• Workplace Safety Awareness: follow all safety regulations, use of proper PPE, and possess a responsible attitude toward safety.

Qualifications

• Ability to operate at least one major type of heavy equipment used in excavation/ grading/ site work.
• Minimum 2 years of operating experience on a construction site.
• Certifications (can be obtained once hired, training provided by Layton Services): OSHA 10 and OSHA Excavations.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Strong work ethic.
