Job summary

RA Holdings, through AIM Services Incbranch, is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator to support diverse projects across military bases, shipyards, and industrial sites on the Virginia East Coast. The role involves operating multiple heavy machines, inspecting vehicles, and maintaining equipment while following all safety protocols.

Location varies across Portsmouth, Norfolk, Virginia Beach, Chesapeake, Suffolk, Newport News, and Hampton with a Monday–Friday 7:00am–3:30pm schedule.

Qualifications

• Must have Real ID and SSN and Birth Certificate.
• Clean background or able to get base access with active badge.
• Meet qualifications to get company auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently.
• Understand DOT standards and keep vehicles up to code.
• Operate skid steers, excavators, bulldozers, dump trucks, loaders, and more.
• Perform excavation, grading, loading, hauling, backfilling, and material relocation.
• Read and interpret site plans, blueprints, and grade stakes.
• Inspect and maintain equipment daily for proper function.
• Follow safety protocols and site regulations.

RA Holdings, through our AIM Services Incbranch, is looking for Heavy Equipment Operator.

AIM Services is one out of three branches that make up the RA Holdings family. AIM Services is an environmental, abatement, remediation, HAZMAT, and demolition contractor founded in 2003. Their teams provide specialty contracting services within government, maritime/shipboard, industrial, commercial, and residential projects within a region. Job Responsibilities:

• OperateHeavyEquipmentvehicles safely and efficiently.
• Understand DOT standards and inspect vehicles to always be up to code.
• Operate skid steers, excavators, bull dozers, dump trucks, loaders, among otherheavyequipmentto efficiently break down structures, clear debris, and prepare sites for development.
• Experienced with excavation, grading, loading, hauling, backfilling, and material relocation tasks.
• Work in a variety of projects ranging from commercial, industrial, government, and military projects.
• Ability to operate machinery and perform labor tasks as needed.
• Inspect and maintainequipmentdaily to ensure proper functioning.
• Follow safetyprotocols and comply with all site regulations.
• Read and interpret site plans, blueprints, and grade stakes.
• Communicate effectively with site supervisors and other team members.
• Report anyequipmentmalfunctions or hazards immediately.

Required Skills, Abilities, and Qualifications:

• Must have a Real ID, SS, and Birth Certificate.
• Clean Background. Or Able to get on base and have active badging.
• Meet Qualifications to get into our Company Auto Insurance.
• Have physical stamina and ability to liftheavyobjects.

Licenses &Certifications:

• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30.
• CDL is preferred, but not required.

Schedule:

• Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm

Location:

• Projects will be located all over the 757 cities, Military bases, and shipyardsincluding Portsmouth, Norfolk, Virginia Beach, Chesapeake, Suffolk, Newport News and Hampton.

Pay:

• $25-$32hr (Depending on Experience)
