Job description

Operates a variety of heavy equipment to ensure the accurate removal and placement of a variety of materials. Conducts routine safety and mechanical inspections to ensure assigned equipment is in good condition to operate, submitting required paperwork on a timely basis. Ensures the safety of individuals working around equipment to prevent injury; and observing hand signals. Always observing safety requirements. Assists crew with general laborer responsibilities as required to ensure customer satisfaction.

Daily Duties
  • Operate Gradall, Excavator, track hoe, forklift, and skid steer.
  • Inspects and fuels equipment prior to beginning shift. аҿ
  • Performs routine maintenance and repairs.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
  • Prolonged periods of operating heavy machinery.
  • Able prescribed to work evenings and weekends as necessary.
  • Must be able to operate machinery in all weather conditions and terrains.

Position Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Extensive knowledge of heavy machinery operation and capabilities.
  • Mechanical aptitude – to be able to perform minor/routine maintenance when necessary.

Physical Requirements

  • May be exposed to high levels of noise, grease, dust, and a variety telecommunications typically associated with a construction site.
