A leading company in environmental services seeks a skilled Equipment Operator. This role involves operating heavy machinery such as hydraulic excavators and loaders, performing maintenance, and ensuring operational safety. Candidates should have over 5 years of experience and strong mechanical skills.
Job Description
The Equipment Operator is responsible for operating a variety of heavy equipment in a safe and efficient manner. Heavy equipment with primary experience operating a hydraulic excavator and/or rubber-tired loader but may include haul & water trucks, telehandler forklifts, skid steers, and; screening, crushing, and material conveying systems; street sweepers; and other heavy equipment. The Heavy Equipment Operator must also clean, inspect, and secure all equipment and perform minor preventative and other maintenance on his/her equipment.
Primary Responsibilities (Essential Functions):
Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner according to all relevant local, state, and federal regulations and all company policies and procedures.
