Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience as Equipment Operator on heavy civil projects.
• Experience with heavy civil construction preferred.
• Must have a valid driver's license.

• Ability to communicate with supervisors and co-workers professionally.
• Must be a team player.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment on the job site, monitoring surroundings.
• Move dirt, gravel and other materials with equipment.
• Operate multiple equipment types such as excavator, dozer, skid steer, grader.
• Perform daily safety checks and preventative maintenance.
• Work collaboratively with crew and follow supervisor instructions.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements

What Is The Opportunity?

Bodell Construction is looking to hire Equipment Operators to support our water/wastewater project in Austin, TX.

What You'll Do Here:

• Operate heavy equipment on our job site, always being aware of surroundings.
• Use equipment to move dirt, gravel, and other materials.
• Will be operating multiple types of equipment such as excavator, dozer, skid steer, grader etc.
• Operate equipment in a safe manner, following all safety regulations.
• Preventative maintenance of equipment and daily safety checks.
• Work collaboratively with crew.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

What You Bring to the Team:

• 5+ years' experience working as an Equipment Operator.
• Experience with heavy civil construction preferred.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Adaptable to work a flexible work schedule when required.
• Self-motivated with good organizational skills.
• Ability to communicate with supervisors, co-workers, in a professional manner at all times.
• Must be a team player.
