About the Role

We’re hiring a Heavy Equipment Operator to safely and efficiently operate bulldozers, long-reach excavators, loaders, haul trucks, and skid steers across multiple aggregate sites. This role also includes daily maintenance responsibilities to keep equipment in safe and reliable condition.

What You’ll Do

• Operate a range of heavy equipment as needed to support production and reclamation activities
• Perform regular maintenance on machinery, including greasing, fueling, cleaning, and minor repairs
• Complete detailed inspection and maintenance reports accurately
• Follow all safety protocols and ensure compliance with MSHA regulations

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs, and up to 100 lbs with assistance
• Ability to work in various weather conditions
• Safely access and navigate facilities, including climbing and descending ladders
• Prolonged periods of sitting and standing
• Flexibility to work outside normal business hours as needed

What You Bring to the Table

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record required
• General knowledge of heavy equipment with at least 1 year of experience in bulldozers, long-reach excavators, loaders, haul trucks, and skid steers preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to maintain professional relationships with managers and colleagues while supporting company goals
• Strong mechanical skills preferred
• Willingness to learn, with a positive attitude, dependability, and teamwork focus
• Ability to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
