Commercial Metals Company seeks a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to support our recycling centers, fabrication plants, and manufacturing facilities. You will operate heavy equipment and hydraulic cranes, follow safety protocols, and contribute to efficient, safe production across multiple sites.

Applicants should have at least 1 year of relevant experience, be able to lift 50 lbs, and work in varied weather conditions.

Formación

• 1+ year experience operating heavy equipment.
• 1+ year experience operating hydraulic cranes.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in all weather conditions.
• Safety-focused with ability to follow established procedures.

• Maintain clean, safe work area; follow safety regulations.

What You’ll Do

• Any other tasks as assigned by supervisor
• Maintains work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition and follows safety regulations
• Operates production equipment in accordance with established procedures and guidelines
• Participates in the CMC Safety Programs and proactively upholds the CMC Safety Culture

What You’ll Need

• Ability to change priorities quickly, work effectively under time constraints and contribute to the team
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to perform repetitive motions including finger movement, and twisting or pressure involving the wrists/hands
• Ability to sit for long periods of time
• Ability to stand for duration of shift; frequent physical activity such as walking, climbing stairs or reaching to work with equipment throughout the entire shift
• Ability to work in all weather conditions
• Experience in either recycling or manufacturing environment preferred
• Minimum 1 year experience operating heavy equipment required
• Minimum 1 year experience operating hydraulic cranes required

Your Education

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience preferred
