Job summary

Korn Ferry's client in Fall River, Wisconsin is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator with strong safety discipline and a background in Active Duty U.S. military service.

You will operate remote-controlled straddle carriers and other heavy material handling gear to move large fabricated units, support production flow, and stage units for shipment. The role requires experience with heavy equipment and a commitment to safety.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years US Military Active Duty experience required.
• Experience operating forklifts, overhead cranes, loaders, telehandlers, or other heavy equipment highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for safely operating remote-controlled straddle carriers and other heavy material handling equipment to transport large fabricated power generation units (weighing several tons) throughout production facility & outdoor storage yard.
• Support production flow while ensuring safe movement and staging of finished assemblies prior to shipment.
• Position and maneuver finished units measuring approximately 30 feet long by 15 feet high with precision and attention to safety.
• Connect and disconnect lifting straps and rigging while properly positioning carriers for safe transport.
• Stage completed units for additional assembly operations, customer inspection, or shipment.
• Operate large-capacity forklifts and other powered industrial equipment as needed.

Experience operating forklifts, overhead cranes, loaders, telehandlers, or other heavy equipment is highly preferred, and will give you a huge advantage over other candidates!

Shifts: 3rd Shift: Monday-Thursday, 5:00 PM-3:00 AM

What You Will Do
