Job summary

Phoenix Global is hiring a heavy equipment operator for on-site work in Fairfield, Alabama. You will operate end loaders, excavators, dozers, and other mobile equipment, perform daily inspections, and maintain safe, clean work areas.

The role requires a safety-focused team player comfortable with 12-hour shifts, lifting up to 40 lbs, and adhering to all regulations. Competitive benefits are included with full-time employment.

Qualifications

• Experience operating heavy mobile equipment such as end loaders, excavators and dozers.
• Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs.
• Safety-oriented mindset with ability to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy mobile equipment on site.
• Load/off-load materials in designated areas.
• Conduct pre op and post op inspections.
• Maintain work area for safe movement and access.
• Monitor machine performance and report malfunctions.
• Keep equipment clean and well maintained.
• Perform daily machine inspection, greasing, oiling and fueling.
