Job summary

Sunstall Inc. seeks a skilled construction equipment operator to perform tasks safely and efficiently under the supervision of the Superintendent/Foreman.

You will operate multiple machines including chipper, dozer, excavator, feller buncher, grinder, and skidder, following the job plan and maintaining daily safety practices. Keyresponsibilities

• Maintainasafeworkplaceandensurethatsafetyisalwaysthehighestpriority.
• Participateinallrequiredsafetytraining.
• Performdailyequipmentcheckstoensureallequipmentisproperlymaintainedandisinsafeoperatingcondition.
• Followinstructionsandcompleteassignedtasksefficientlyandeffectively.
• Takeactionstoavoidpotentialhazardsorobstructions,suchasutilitylines,otherequipment,otherworkersorfallingobjects.
• Haveappropriateclothing,workbootsandPPEwhileonthejobsite.
• Beawareofundergroundservices,suchaspipesorwirepriortobeginningworkandbecautiousoftheirlocationsthroughouttheworkday.
• Readjobplanstoensureathoroughknowledgeofthejobathand.
• Checkallequipmentfluidspriortostartingtheworkday.
