Job description

GSL is seeking Equipment Operators to become a part of our growing team! You will operate a variety of equipment including but not limited to: excavators, mini excavators, skid steers, dozers, rollers, and crawler carriers. We perform work in the oil/gas, environmental, and commercial landscape construction sectors. We are a year-round company, keeping our operators busy 12 months out of the year.

Responsibilities:

• Operate equipment in a safe manner
• Operate different types of equipment as required
• Work extended hours and overtime as needed
• Follow a schedule of 6-7 days per week
• Safely operate trucks and other equipment
• Load and unload equipment
• Inspect trucks and equipment before and after use
• Perform daily maintenance and communicate maintenance or repair needs
• Adhere to safety policies and procedures

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in equipment operation is required
• Experience with CDL driving is preferred
• Experience hauling heavy equipment is a plus
• Experience hauling oversize loads is a plus
