Job Description

Mikula Contracting, Inc., a 79-year-old family-owned and operated business, is seeking an Experienced Heavy Equipment Operator with a Class A CDL license for an immediate opening. Mikula Contracting, Inc. provides commercial and residential customers with various excavation and demolition services.

Responsibilities:

• Operate heavy machinery such as excavators, loaders, backhoes, bulldozers, and similar equipment.
• Perform maintenance and minor repairs on heavy equipment.
• Locate underground utilities before excavation.
• Ensure health and safety standards are met during operations.
• Align machines using stakes, markers, guidelines, and hand signals.
• Load and move materials like dirt, rocks, and debris.
• Drive equipment to level earth and terrain.
• Coordinate activities with crew members through signals.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Class A CDL Truck Driver Responsibilities:

• At least 1 year of experience driving tandem dump trucks.
• Adhere to safety standards.
• Perform additional duties as needed.
