Job summary

Bodell Construction is hiring Equipment Operators to support our water infrastructure project in Austin, TX. Operate heavy equipment on site, move dirt and materials, and work with a skilled crew to deliver safe, high-quality results.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of equipment operation, a valid driver’s license, and a team-focused, safety-conscious mindset. This role offers competitive pay, health and dental coverage, and a path to growth through our Aecon-backed programs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience working as an Equipment Operator.
• Experience with heavy civil construction preferred.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Adaptable to work a flexible work schedule when required.
• Self‑motivated with good organizational skills.
• Ability to communicate with supervisors, co-workers, in a professional manner at all times.
• Must be a team player.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment on our job site, always being aware of surroundings.
• Use equipment to move dirt, gravel, and other materials.
• Will be operating multiple types of equipment such as excavator, dozer, skid steer, grader etc.
• Operate equipment in a safe manner, following all safety regulations.
• Preventative maintenance of equipment and daily safety checks.
• Work collaboratively with crew.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

What Is The Opportunity?

What You'll Do Here:
