Job summary

Union Machinery, a family-owned heavy machinery moving company, is hiring a Heavy Equipment Mover to relocate industrial machinery and other large assets. You will load, unload, secure equipment and assist with rigging, positioning, and installation.

The role requires experience moving heavy equipment, CDL A preferred or willingness to obtain, ability to operate forklifts, knowledge of load securement and transportation rules, and a strong safety record.

Qualifications

• Experience moving heavy equipment, machinery, or industrial equipment preferred.
• CDL Class A license preferred (or willingness to obtain).
• Ability to safely operate forklifts and related equipment.
• Knowledge of load securement and transportation regulations.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to work outdoors and lift up to 75 lbs.
• Excellent safety record and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, and secure heavy equipment for transport.
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment.
• Assist with machinery rigging, positioning, and installation.
• Perform equipment inspections before and after transport.
• Communicate effectively with customers and team members.
• Maintain trucks, trailers, and moving equipment.
