Job summary

Maine Drilling & Blasting Inc. (MD&B), an employee-owned ESOP company, is expanding its heavy equipment team to repair and maintain drill equipment, hoe-rams, skids and other fleet assets across field sites and shop locations.

The position requires a high school or technical school graduate, ASE certification in automotive or heavy equipment maintenance, 3–5 years of experience, and a strong commitment to safety.

Qualifications

• High school or technical school graduate, ASE certified in automotive or heavy equipment maintenance.
• 3–5 years of heavy equipment mechanic experience.
• Ability to obtain DOT Medical Card and pass ATF screenings.

Responsibilities

• Replace and repair broken equipment.
• Perform PM on equipment.
• Trouble-shoot mechanical systems (motors, hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical).
• Follow all safety policies and procedures.
• Perform field services and repairs at various sites.
• Coordinate with Equipment Manager for parts and supplies.
• Use and operate hand and power tools safely.
• Complete maintenance documents and records.
• Participate in Equipment Manager meetings.
• Other duties as assigned.
