Altec is seeking skilled mechanics across the United States and Canada to join our field service team. You will replace electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical components on heavy equipment, using manuals and manuals-based troubleshooting tools and maintaining safety and quality in every task.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, strong interpersonal and organizational skills, and the dexterity to handle tools and equipment up to 75 pounds.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Ability to read and use manuals and troubleshooting guides.

Responsibilities

• Perform replacement of electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical components.
• Utilize technical resources in troubleshooting and repair procedures.
• Perform Unit Condition Inspections and Reports.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly work area.
• Adhere to safety practices and company values.
• Provide accurate documentation and communicate with supervisors.
