Job summary

Croell, Inc. is seeking a Mechanic in Cheyenne, WY to perform a full range of repair and modification work on heavy equipment vehicles, including trucks, backhoes, loaders, and related components.

The position is full-time with overtime during peak season and reports to the Territory Manager with no supervisory duties. The role offers a wage of $28–$30 per hour based on experience, with benefits such as medical/dental/vision, disability and life insurance options, paid time off, 401(k) with

Qualifications

• Consent to pre-employment work screen, Motor Vehicle Record request, and drug test.
• Accreditation from a school of mechanics or 3+ years working with heavy construction equipment.
• Class B CDL.

Responsibilities

• Perform a full range of repair and modification work on heavy equipment vehicles, including light-duty, heavy-duty, Redi-Mix trucks, backhoes, loaders and miscellaneous equipment.
• Repair tires, wheels, wheel bearings, idler wheels, idler bearings, and oil seals.
• Repair hydraulic and air brake systems; diagnose and determine repair scope; service engines, transmissions, electrical, fuel and hydraulic components.
• Use manuals to identify and order parts; operate and inspect machines to diagnose defects; test overhauled equipment for field readiness.
• Complete welding, crane operation, lifting, and jacking as required; work outside normal hours when needed.
